Fifth one up on #sendFOODS is... Gen Korean BBQ House!
Okay everyone, if you haven't tried this place, you're missing out on some really good meat! Gen, for short, is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants to go to. Ever since Korean BBQ has become so popular, the restaurants are always so busy.
Any Korean BBQ restaurant is usually expensive, but it's all-you-can-eat lunch or dinner that you can cook yourself at your table! So it's definitely worth the price and the wait. There are more Gen's opening up now, but the only ones I've been to are the one on Hostetter Rd. and Barber Ct.
When I go with either friends or family, I usually end up ordering the signature galbi (marinated bone in short ribs), beef bulgogi (thinly slice marinated sweet and savory beef), shrimp, premium chadol (thinly sliced beef brisket), spicy pork bulgogi (marinated spicy pork), and jap chae (mixed vegetables with glass noodles).
Just writing about this is making me crave Gen now...
Anyways, there are several other meats/seafood to choose from the menu. That's just what I order, but I recommend ordering those when you visit a Gen near you. Try going to one soon people! You don't want to miss out any longer on this amazing food.
